DESIGN BY ALESSANDRA BERTINI

From Newform's particular intention to the design of the home of tomorrow on the remnants of yesteryear comes the new Ionika collection for bathrooms.

A new decorative line and a marked aesthetic research thus define the volumes of the series, strongly inspired by Greek-Classical architecture.

The nod to classic order is revealed in the grooved details of the collection, with all components characterised by linear mouldings that become the hallmark of each Ionika item. 

In evoking the capitals of Greek architecture, Newform conceives the single-control mixer taps of the new collection as a remake of an original trilithon – the typical composition of two vertical and one horizontal elements corresponding exactly to the body, handle and spout of the series.

Ionika finishes combine art and materials for inexhaustible planning

The strong decorative character of the series is complemented by the colour that, for Newform, translates into a range of finishes that exalt the sense of three-dimensionality of the Ionika design.
