Alessandra Bertini

As an architect and designer, I have a professional approach and a diverse skill set. My approach to architectural design, interior design, and product design is characterized by a combination of irony and technique. All my projects are shaped by the principles of universal design, where sustainability and creativity are central elements.

A memory, emotion, or the wonder that is generated by having lived a moment or observing a detail, all incentives from which ideas and projects come to life in a synthesis between lightness and linearity, with the aim of bringing out comfortable forms.

Some of my projects, realised in recent years, have won important awards such as the Vespucci Award for the research of new biodegradable materials, proFuse for a careful study of the usability of design in the kitchen, Gheoarte for a new concept of urban furniture, the Code0039 award for the best eco-gadget.

On bathroom decor, some projects developed in collaboration with Phicubo, a collaborative project of which I have been a part for almost twenty years, have won important awards such as Design Plus Iconic Awards and VeloCity.
